About the Lakeshore West line
The Lakeshore West line runs between Union Station in downtown Toronto and the west end of the GO network, serving commuters along the lake from Exhibition through Mississauga, Oakville, and Burlington to Hamilton and — on select trips — St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. It is one of the two GO rail corridors with all-day, two-way service every day of the week. Most trains terminate at Aldershot or West Harbour; weekend and seasonal service continues to Niagara Falls. The full Union-to-West-Harbour run stops at twelve stations; the Niagara extension adds three more. Lakeshore West connects to the TTC subway at Union, GO bus at most intermediate stations, and Hamilton Street Railway at West Harbour.
