GO Transit's seven rail lines — Lakeshore West, Lakeshore East, Milton, Kitchener, Barrie, Richmond Hill, and Stouffville — all radiate from Union Station in downtown Toronto, covering the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area from Niagara Falls to Barrie and Stouffville to Kitchener. Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East run all-day, two-way service every day; the other five run a mix of peak-direction and expanding all-day service as the GO Expansion program continues. - How many GO train lines are there?
- Seven: Lakeshore West, Lakeshore East, Milton, Kitchener, Barrie, Richmond Hill, and Stouffville. All seven radiate from Union Station in downtown Toronto.
- Which GO lines run all day?
- Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East are the only two GO rail lines with all-day, two-way service every day of the week. Kitchener, Barrie, and Stouffville run expanding all-day service on their inner segments as part of the GO Expansion program. Milton and Richmond Hill remain peak-direction weekday service only.
- Which GO lines are peak-hours only?
- Milton and Richmond Hill are peak-direction, weekday-only rail service, with no midday, evening, or weekend trains. Off-peak travel on those corridors is covered by GO Bus routes.
