About the Stouffville line

The Stouffville line runs between Union Station and Old Elm, north of Stouffville, crossing eastern Toronto, Markham, and the edge of Whitchurch-Stouffville. Ten stations span the corridor: Union, Kennedy, Agincourt, Milliken, Unionville, Centennial, Markham, Mount Joy, Stouffville, and Old Elm. Kennedy connects to TTC Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth). Stouffville has transitioned from peak-only service to growing all-day two-way operation as part of the GO Expansion program, with an increasing midday and weekend presence.

Stouffville line service is most frequent during weekday peak hours in the peak direction, with expanding all-day two-way service between Union and Unionville. Weekend service also runs between Union and Unionville, with less frequent trips continuing to Mount Joy, Stouffville, and Old Elm as GO Expansion progresses.

Where is Old Elm station?
Old Elm is the northern terminus of the Stouffville line, located just north of the town of Stouffville. It replaced the former Lincolnville station as the line’s end point after a recent corridor upgrade.
